Cheema Cottage: Ockford Road

MVL have been commissioned to tackle a set of twin cottages that bookend a block of three Grade II Listed cottages currently identified as a heritage property ‘at risk’ due to extended periods of vacancy and neglect. The existing property is a small artisan dwelling with habitable rooms across two and a half floors occupying a prominent position along Ockford road. Designed as a ‘Light Touch’, This proposal seeks to minimally adapt the existing internal layout as part of a sympathetic refurbishment as to afford the occupant habitable spaces in which this historic property can be fully utilised and appreciated.
