Compton Way, Farnham

The clients design brief evolved over the initial stages of the process into a sympathetic refurbishment of the house in a 1930’s arts and crafts style using materials and motifs that are of the period. Deep overhangs, timber detailing, leaded glass, brick, render and tile hanging all combine to give the property a sense of tradition and grandeur. Improved levels of thermal performance, increased levels of natural light penetration, considered solar protection and a sensitive design approach has resulted in subtle design which encapsulates the wishes of client.
